The organization advises that instead of mutual accusations and animosity in rhetoric it is better to focus on common interests such as the regional security questions, trade and transport are. They said that after the war the absence of communication even more strained the situation.
The organization underlines that the Geneva negotiations which was established in the frames of the cease -fire agreement and the aim of which was to create more secure environment and humanitarian questions regulating, yield only a few progress.
"In connection with the security questions for the exchange of information about the incidents the Incident Prevention Group was established. As well the EUMM operates here. Nevertheless parties could not agree to the more important questions, for which the Geneva negotiations were established, namely the return of refugees. Taking in view the toxic environment in negotiations, which are today the Geneva negotiations may fail, "- the statement reads.
At the same time the International Crisis Group considers it be necessary to involve Switzerland as a mediator for restoration of relations.
