Berezovsky believes he is an optimistic person and romantic in nature. The main love of Boris is his mother. She thought him to love. And he always feels her unlimited love to him.

He was babtised at the age of 48 in the Russian Orthodox Church and the two main subjects he was thought about were the love and the freedom. He said he understands that the priority before the freedom has the love, because it refines a person as a personality. He said the love unlike the freedom is irrational. And in the Russian culture there is no difference between the will and the freedom. "But namely this is a reason of the slavery mentality. He said that bandits are building churches and are proud of it, because there is not a main point - the love. Without the priority of the love above all other values it is impossible to extinguish the slavery mentality and became a free person, - he believes.
