In 2010 in Georgia the Russian investments increased 5-times, to compare with the previous year. This information is provided by the International Crisis Group.
The ICG published several reports concerning Russian-Georgian war; the main is the Russian investments in Georgia.
The ICG reports that for the 2010 the investments increased but they did not reach yet the pre war level.
"In 2010 the direct Russian investments amounted to USD 51mn. At the same time in 2009 the Russian investments were USD10 mn, in 2008 USD 89 mn. After the 2008 August war and following the world economic crisis the FDI in Georgia decreased for 16%."
The report as well shows that Russia and Georgia managed to restore transport relations, in 2010 the air navigation established between two countries.
