The USA Helsinki Group demanded from Russian Federation to withdraw all military forces from the occupied territories in Georgia, GHN reports.
Cris Smith, chair of the Helsinki Commission said that Russia should stop the illegal occupation of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
"Russia should withdraw its forces and to allow Georgian refugees and IDPs to return," - Senator said to VOA.
It was underlined that Russia should lift prohibitions and to allow the OSCE mission to work in the conflict zones.
