Georgian Patriarch Ilia Second visits Batumi. His Holiness blessed the St. Nicholas Church and sacrificed to it the cross from Jerusalem.
Later on Patriarch talked with the congregation in the Church and recalled the time when he was served in Batumi St. Nicholas Church. He was here for7 years.
"Georgian will be united thanks to the holy virtue of St. Nicholas, "- Patriarch said.
