Tomorrow on August 17, the NGOs and political parties representatives will discuss the detention of Zurab Khutsishvili, founder o the newspaper "Ai ia".
Lasha Chkhartishvili, defense lawyer said to GHN that the meeting will be held at 13:00 in the conference hall of GYLA (15 Krilov str.).
The political parties representatives will discuss the question of his detention as a political and illegitimate one.
For information on July 21 at the Kostava street the SOD (Special Operations Division of MIA) detained founder of the Georgian newspaper Zurab Khutsishvili. HE is charged with GCC Art 260 part two, which stipulates the imprisonment from 7 to 14 years.
On July 23 the Tbilisi City Court sentenced him to 45 days pre trial detention. The next Court hearing will be held on September 5.
