"Saakashvili's regime continues to persecute people with differing political opinion. Such undemocratic tendencies is a continuation of a policy and the next one happening is a dismissal from the post of Art Director in the State Theatre named after Shota Rustaveli, " - the political party's statement reads. The political party asserts that the Saakashvili's regime cannot bear the freedom of opinion, the fair critics and oppresses all those people who dare to say truth.
The brave position in the matters of political opinion expression of Robert Sturua became a reason for his dismissal. The Georgian Party said this is a political persecution and demands to cease similar unlawful actions.
For information, on August 9, under the Nikoloz Rurua's, Culture Minster's order Robert Sturua was dismissed form the post of Art Director in the Georgian State Theatre named after Shota Rustaveli.
