Today on February 4 at 12:00 in the Conference Hall of the Georigan Young Lawyers Association Tamar Khidasheli, chairwoman of GYLA will hold a briefing in connection with the pleading for the Constitutional Court.
In the Georigan Young Lawyers Association it is believed that the amendments to the Aministrative Code about the maximal measure for administrative breaches of 90 days, is contrary to the Article 15 and Article 20 of the Georgian Constitution.
The alw suit in the Constitutional Court is bsed upon the Reccommendations of the CoE of the Committee against Torture of 2007 in connection with the persons being in the detention for administrative breaches.
The GYLA representatives are planning to hold talks with members of CoE Committee against Torture being with visit in Georgia on February 5 of 2010.
