At the Culture Ministry the protest action was held in support of Robert Sturua for his dismissal form the post of Art Director of the Rustaveli State Theatre. Alongside with the artists here were present politicians and other public representatives. One of the organizers of the protest action Beso Zanguri said that supporters of Robert Sturua will continue to fight to the end.
"We are demanding government to apologize before the maestro for the inappropriate behavior. Sturua is a great film director and we are declaring solidarity to him, and we will try to the end. We demand the government to return him to his position. But it is a question if he will agree to this. It will be very good if the government will apologize for such inadequate behavior, "- Zanguri said.
He said that the government will get a protest from Georgian Theatres. To be noted that they left slogan at the Culture Ministry:"Rurua has to be answerable for his actions which he committed against people during his presence in Georgian Armed Force "Mkhedrioni". He is guilty before the nation and he has no right to dismiss Sturua."
The protest action organizes say the next step of the protest may be the artist's leaving the Theatre.
