Jansugh Charkviani, Georgian poet said the government fights against Sturua because he is a genius. In conversation wit journalists poet said that this government needs not Charkviani because he did not became its slave.
"Sturua is under the attack because he is a genius. If the throng will not turn into the congregation we will remain in such terrible situation. How can the nation forgive the dismissal of such genial artist? The people should unite, for such actions not to be repeated, "- Charkviani said at the protest action in front of the Rustaveli Theatre.
He stated that none of his statements were anti Armenian. "This is only the reason, which is for the government to dismiss him. It is not easy for anybody to say he is a bad film director; instead he was rejected for his genius, "- Charkviani said.
