Natasha Chkhikvadze, wife of famous Georgian actor Ramaz Chkhikvadze died. Natasha Ckhikvadze was in Czech Republic together with her husband, GHN reports.
For the half an hour before her death she gave an interview to the Russian media union. She talked about the dismissal of Robert Sturua. She said:
"Today it is no use to ask me about the language I will talk during the interview Russian or not. Nevertheless for the 54 years I lived in Georgia I had always making a virtue for the Georgian people and for the Georgian Culture."
In her last interview she said that on August 24 it was planned to transport Ramaz Chkhikvadze to Georgia. She underlined that Ramaz Chkhikvadze and Robert Sturua were a founders of the Georgian Theatre and they gained world recognition. "They were conquering all world and all world was admiring its genial art. At that time almost nobody knew were Georgia is and all are getting to know Georgia over its theatric performances.
My dear Robiko (Robert Sturua) I know that Ramaz even being in such hardest situation because of his health still much bothers about you. This should not happen... The thratre directors sometimes have troubles and its performances sometimes are not up to the moment. But there is history which nobody will not rewrite anew and nobody will cross it. One can create new pages in our life but they will pass as well as the time will pass, "- she said.
She underlined that all world knows the prominent theater performances which were created by the genial actor Ramaz Chkhikvadze and the theatre director Robert Sturua. She said nobody should as well wonder with the negligent attitude to such great masters. As during all this time nobody even gets interested with the hard situation in which Ramaz Chkhikvadze is.
"He constantly thinks about you, Robert. And believe me; nobody can delete the history in art which you both created, "- Natasha Chkhikvadze said in her last interview.
She thanked all supporters and theatre spectators who remember Ramaz Chkhikvadze.
