The Russian Foreign Ministry talks about the possible provocation from the Georgian side.
The Russian foreign body informs that the Georgian party plans to stage a large scale provocation in connection with the decision of Russian Federation to recognize the independence of South Ossetia, on August 26.
"They plan to conduct some kind of the "peace march" from the Georgian settled region Odzisi to the border check point in the South Ossetia town Leningori," - the Russian Foreign Ministry informs. They as well inform that it is decided that the protest march will encompass up to 3 thousand people, among them refugees and Akhmeta regional dwellers temporarily settled from Chechnya.
"The scenario of such action is aimed to the mass illegal entering the South Ossetia territory under the slogan of return of refugees to own homes, "- the Russian Foreign Ministry informs.
The Russian Foreign Ministry informs that the instable peace in the region is under the danger thanks to the Georgian government's design for new provocation. Russian Foreign Ministry warns the Georgian side to refrain from such actions at the border.
