In connection with the St. Mary holyday, President pardoned 201 prisoners.
The information is announced by the Corrections Mister Khatuna Kalmakhelidze during the briefing.
"With the occasion of St. Mary's day out of total pardoned persons 171 got full amnesty, the y will leave the prison today. 19 prisoners' term decreased to the half, 4 - diminished and 7 prisoners on demand were freed,"- Kalmakhelidze said.
She as well said among them is 9 women and 3 underage.
"Pardoning is carried out throughout the country. They will leave prisons during the day, "- she said.
