"I will not allow him to imprison me! I will fight to the end, till even one man only continues to fight. This fight will be fair. I will fight in the interests of Georgia!" - he said in his interview with Georgian newspaper AsavalDasavali
At the same time the ex-Border Police Chief said that Georgian oppositionists should forget about old wounds and to unite under the common ideas. ‘We will not leave Georgia for Saakashvili!' - he said.
