The Georgian Patriarchy condemns the incident happening in the Armenian Church in Georgia.
"Several days ago two unknown people young people invaded the Armenian Church. They committed a vandalism act: they damaged the Armenian Gospel and assaulted the Temple. We believe that this action is unacceptable. More precisely this is a provocation which is aimed to the destroying of relations between Armenian and Georgian Churches and among population. That is why we ask the law forcers to react properly and to investigate the crime, "- the statement reads.
