The Cochran Fellowship Program (CFP) reunion reception will take place on September 1 at the Hotel Betsy in, Tbilisi. The Political/Economic Chief of political/economic section of the U.S. Embassy Mr. Alan Meltzer will host the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) reception for Cochran Fellowship Program (CFP) alumni. The CFP reunion reception is an annual event, which aims to bring all the alumni together to share experiences, network and further cooperation. The CFP is short-term (2-3 weeks) training in the U.S. for senior and mid-level agriculturists, managers and administrators concerned with agricultural development, trade, agribusiness management and marketing from the public and private sectors. The CFP is part of the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service international programming.
