French diplomat Phillip Leforte is nominated EU special representative to South Caucasus.
Philippe Leforte will work concurrently as well as EU Special Representative in Crisis questions.
The EU took a decision to endow these two functions for one person on August 26 for French Diplomat.
The terms are determined from 2011 September 1 to 2012 June30. Lefort took the Office yesterday.
For information, till now the post of EU special Representative in crisis questions was occupied by Pier Morely and the EU special Representative in South Caucasus by Peter Semneby
