MFA of Georgia denies the information as if Georgian companies were applying to Russian Sanitarian service "Ros Potreb NAdzor" to return the goods to Russian market, GHN reports.
"The information was checked and nothing like this was found. This is another one speculation from Russian Federation, " - Nino Kalandadze said at the press conference.
She said that Russia alongside with the negotiations for WTO membership, purposely tries to establish a positive background, as if it is willing to return the Georgian products to Russian market.
"The embargo problems are not connected with the affiliation of Russian Federation to WTO. Georgian party has posed no condition for WTO membership the embargo question. This is not a question of our interests. But as it is getting clear this question as well is not in the interests of Georgian companies as well. the entering of RF to WTO implies the condition for embargo lifting for member of this organization, " - Kalandadze said.
For information, the "Ros Potreb Nadzor" disseminated the information as if IDS Borjomi Georgia applied for return of its goods to Russian market.
