EU should not close its borders for the neighbor countries, which are trying to establish democratic values. That's way the main element for the Eastern Partnership project is a simplification of a contacts between EU citizens and citizens from the Eastern partnership program (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Belarus). Polish Marshal Gjegoj Skhetina said this to representatives of Eastern Partnership program member countries and EU Foreign committees heads.
He said the Eastern Partnership program is somehow a guaranty for the stability in the region. The Polish sejm head said the EU should not close its borders if behind the borders its friends are who respect the human rights and are open for the dialogue.
Skhetina said the eastern Partnership will uphold the strengthening of the contacts. In this respect very important is supporting of the projects which are planned for September 29-30 at the Eastern Partnership summit in Varshav.
We remind you that initiators of the Eastern Partnership Program are Poland and Switzerland. The partnership stipulates the political and economic cooperation with 6 neighbor countries - Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova.
