Robert Sturua, Theater Director said the Georgian government passed to Russian Federation whole South Ossetia and Abkhazia. As well no problem will be for the government to refuse his art.
"Now they said that even the Georgian party will recognize the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. My art will not be a deprivation of a land for Georgia. I am going to Russia, but they are not for me enemies. They love me much. When I staged a performance "Storm" they suggested me the post of an invited Chief Art Director. What this occasion happens they put pressure over me and said here is a flat, wages and one performance in a year. And you will be free they said you can go whenever you wish, to London or to Georgia, "- Sturua said to journalists.
He said he has not take a decision yet, as he did not got to the final events.
"I did not promise yet anything, as I feel that the events are not yet final now only the culmination started. The opinion is divided to two parts. Some are asking me to not to go, some say I should go, some are saying that this is a treason. The British wrote me that this is very good that you have invitations form Russia, but not agree too speedily to anything. For me the new stage starts. I have a painful moment now, as do not know were will I stop. This is a time when I have to analyze carefully, at least the end of my life is near, "- Sturua said.
