In Cyprus, at the territory of Gallia monastery the preparation works are pending for construction of Georgian monastery under the ancient Georgian architecture style. Till the end of the year all preparation works will be accomplished. Vladimir Constantinidi, envoy plenipotentiary to Greece provided with this information the news agency GHN.

More exactly, the Georgian side will be granted the land at the monastery territory for construction of the Georgian monastery. The Cyprus government has to agree for the 49-th years ownership rights granting to the Georgian side for this land. The next step will be a development of the project for this construction. This as well will not be an easy task as the land is not even, diplomat said to GHN.


The financing of the land will happen under the joint efforts of Georgian public and business circles and Diaspora.
