Audronius Azubalis, Lithuanian Foreign Minister said that Georgia deserves a very strong signal for NATO membership. He said when meeting with Grigol Vashadze, Georgian Foreign Minister they talked about forthcoming NATO summit in Chikago.
"I cannot say exactly what form will be given a signal for Georgia for NATO membership, but should be noted that Georgia spent great part of GDP to the military development. Georgia has strong positions in Afghanistan and we have to prove that Georgia deserves this signal," - Lithuanian Foreign Minister said.
