According to the State Secretary's report the situation in Georgia concerning national minorities satisfactory. The government respects freedoms of national minorities at the legislative level as well in practice. The report touches period from July to December of 2010.
The report shows that some problems remain unchanged. For instance questions of a Church property return for national minorities and registration of the religious minorities' settlement.
As well in the report was noted that religious minorities faced problems in prisons. However, the Penitential Ministry made some steps for overcoming such problems.
The USA actively reviews the question of national minorities' religious freedoms with Georgian government.
