"The UN Assembly General will be held on September 19-23, "- Nino Kalandadze, Deputy Foreign Minister said this during a traditional briefing in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She said that Georgian delegates are well represented and the UN Assembly General gives a possibility to Georgia to deepen diplomatic relations with the UN member countries.
"The 66-th Assembly will be held on September 19-23. On September 20 the Open Partnership Imitative opening ceremony will be held in the frames of the UN Assembly General. The idea for establishing such initiative belongs to USA President. This denotes the union of all democratic states under one idea. Georgia joined this initiative last week, "- Kalandadze said.
