Shorena Khangoshvili, former journalist and employee of Rodi Scott Fund was released from imprisonment. The Kakheti regional information center provides with this information.
No official grounds for her release were known yet. She was detained on September 16 by the SOD (MIA's Special Operative Department) employees at the bus station with allegation in drug abuse Art. 260, part II of the GCC. This crime stipulates 7-12 years of imprisonment.
During two days in Pankisi valley protest actions were pending with demand of her release. From September 21 the protest actions with the same demand for her release are planned at the President's administration.
