President of Georgia has left for the United States. Mikheil Saakashvili will take part in 66-th UN Assembly general. He will hold meetings with the president of the United States Barack Obama and two former presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton.
President Saakashvili in his speech at the Assembly will pay attention to the security question of Georgian Republic.
Mikheil Saakashvili will deliver an opening speech at the Summit Concordia, which is held simultaneously with the UN General Assembly. The summit will be opened by observing a minute silence for the memory of the people who were killed in 9/11 tragedy. The event has been initiated by George Bush.
Georgian president will also join the Clinton`s Global Initiative and the conference Partnership for Open Governance - initiated by President Obama.
