The Russian Foreign Ministry declared that the speech of Georgian President at the 66-th UN General Assembly was not a special one and distinguished from similar other speeches. For this reasons it needs no special attention from the Russian side.
"I do not think that this speech deserves a special comment. It is almost the same as other speeches of Saakashvili on international level. One of the elements in such speeches is an endless self-praising and boring declarations about fantastic success of Georgia in democracy and freedoms. The other part of such speeches is an antirussian insinuation; attempts to blame Russia in all sins from the ‘occupation' to ‘terrorism', "- Russian Foreign Ministry commented the recent speech of President Saakashvili.
