Georgian journalists captured Badri Bitsadze, ex-Border Police chief in Vienna. He was with his family, his wife Nino Burjanadze and children in a hotel. Nevertheless the information was disseminated that he was in Russian Federation after fleeing Georgia.
For information, Bitsadze was sentenced in absentia by the Tbilisi City Court for 5.6 years of imprisonment for illegal armed formation. His whereabouts was unknown since May 26.
