In Warsaw, in the margins of the Eastern Partnership Summit, the 15th Meeting of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs took place. The meeting was attended by the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Mr. Elmar Mammadyarov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, Mr. Yuri Leanca, Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Mr. Konstantin Grishenko, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Tornike Gordadze and GUAM Secretary General, Mr. Valeri Chechelashvili. The meeting was opened by Mr. Jerzy Pomianowski, Under-Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting issues of further deepening of regional, including sectoral co-operation were considered. The Ministries emphasized a notable growth of mutual trade in recent period, considered priority goals of cooperation in the GUAM format, including perspectives of deepening of co-operation with the European Union.
As an outcome of the meeting the GUAM CMFA Warsaw Statement on the prospects for cooperation and European integration was signed, Plan of action of sectoral cooperation facilitation was endorsed.
