Georgian President awarded first President of Czech Republic with the order of St. George. Mikheil Saakashvili, who arrived to the international conference to Prague, said this award has a symbolic nature and the democracy and liberal values never will be defeated by totalitarian regimes. Havel thanked Saakashvili for this honor and said that Georgia in near future will return occupied territories and enter EU.
"Each of us, who values freedom, constantly is aspired to the innovation and something different. For us the end of the USSR is not the end of the history. Contrary, this is the beginning of the history. This is thanks for you Mr. Vaclav that we got out from the frozen museum. We existed and thought about the survival, "- President Saakashvili said.
Havel thanked Georgian President , and said that never forget Georgia.
