Georgian President, Mikheil Saakashvili, awarded with Presidential Order Erik Furnie, Ambassador of France in Georgia. Mikheil Saakashvili thanked him for the diplomatic activity in our country and contribution for deepening relations between France and Georgia. The last meeting attended dip.corp. representatives as well.
Erik Furnie is in Georgia since 2007 September; his terms of office expire on October 23 of 2011. He will continue his activity in French Foreign Ministry as a head of one of the departments.
