In the relations policy with Turkish Republics the good neighbor policy is a main priority. The newly appointed Turkish General Consul said today in conversation with Ajara regional government chair.
Levan Varshalomidze, chair of Ajara regional government met today with Engin Arican, General Consul. Ajarian government chair expressed his satisfaction with the close cooperation which is established between Georgia and Turkey. As result of such cooperation many useful projects are implemented in Ajara. Varshalomidze underlined that it is necessary to retain this direction and to deepen relations between Turkey and Georgia.
At the same time Turkish General Consul said that in the Turkish neighborhood policy one of the main priorities is a good neighborhood policy with Georgian Republic. This will be a basis for the mutually favorable projects implementation. Turkish General Consul in Batumi is appointed to this position since October 1.
