The large-scale deportation as a result of the special operation against illegal employers and residents in Turkey was carried out. The Police in Turkey was preparing for it over a year.
150 out of 200 people, who were detained and some of them deported from Turkey, are Georgian nationals.
Most of those 80 Georgian nationals, who have been already deported from Turkey, are women, who worked in the country illegally.
The Police have also detained the people who employed them - about 40 people; however, it has not been clarified yet, whether there are Georgian citizens among them too.
