Ivanishvili began the press conference by explaining his decision to go to politics, which he said was very hard to take. He said he had never intended to move from business to politics, but he took this decision after `realizing` that he was losing his homeland.
Ivanishvili touched the August 2008 war while talking about politics. He accused Saakashvili of beginning war in Tskhinvali, asserting the international society and the special commission probing into the causes of the war, had the same position. Ivanishvili said only Georgian people were confirmed in the contrary.
