Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission Chair welcomes the accomplishment of negotiations between Russia and Georgia concerning the WTO question.
"Russia, in terms of the size is a third biggest country as a trade partner. For exporters and investors Russia is a very important market. The affiliation of Georgia in WTO can bring a real and qualitative changes, "- Barroso said.
He noted as well that the Russia's membership to WTO would be a step forward in terms of closer economic cooperation between EU and Russia.
