The visit of NATO underlines a special disposition of this organization to Georgian Republic, Andres Fogh Rassmusen, NATO Secretary General said, GHN reports.
Secretary General said that three years passed since the first visit, and for this period of time Georgia reached a progress in many areas.
"As well I would like to express my gratitude for the participation in ISAF operation in Afghanistan. Georgia is one of the strongest contributors in Afghanistan. This visit will give a possibility to discuss the future progress in the Georgia-NATO relations in the period after reforms which were carried out in Georgia, "- he said.
For information, the NATO delegation will arrive to Georgia with two-day visit on November 9.
