The Georgian population started a fight for the Bidzina Ivanishvili's participation in elections, Ramaz Sakvarelidze, political scientist said, GHN reports.
Sakvarelidze said as well in conversation with GHN that the explicit notion of this process is that Georgian population is opening its bank account in "Qartu Bank" in solidarity with Ivanishvili's political campaign.
"The population started to fight for the Ivanishvili's participation in elections. However Ivanishvili himself did not made any step for this. The initiative comes only from the population but not from Ivanishvili, this is a main in this process, "- expert said.
He underlined that if such process will continue, then other banks will be very unsatisfied with the situation, and the government might put pressure over Ivanishvili.
"In some terms people are risking with its savings making such steps. We expect that there people will be a support for Ivanishvili at elections. I would underline one more point - if people will continue to take its savings from banks to put them into "Qartu Bank", than most likely authorities will appear under the pressure not only of the people but as well of the banks. The bankers will be interested to decide this question. As much this question will affect the bankers interests as more the pressure against authorities will increase, "- Sakvarelidze said.
For information, Bidzina Ivanishvili's supporters are opening the bank accounts in the "Qartu Bank". Customers declared solidarity in this way to Bidzina Ivanishvili, they consider authorities were acting unfairly against him.
