Nika Gilauri, Prime Minister positively estimates the agreement between Georgia and Russia for WTO entry, GHN reports. He said this fact is a step forward, and that the Swiss party considered the Georgia's suggestions and they are envisaged in the document.
"The negotiations are pending over many years. We have had own demands in these negotiations. We can welcome the fact that Swiss party considered those demands. I can underline some of them. The first is that the monitoring will conducted not a private company, but a Switzerland. As well the document reflects that the common customs regime will be carried out over all Georgian territory, but not different regimes will be on occupied territories and on other parts of Georgia. The important question for us is as well that we will get information. Before we had no access to the information what kind of trade was performed between Georgia's occupied territories and Russian Federation. Now after this agreement this information will be passed to Georgia in whole. This is important in terms of security, " - Gilauri said.
