Nino Kalandadze, Deputy Foreign Minster said that at the Georgian-Russian border the control over the cargo movement will be performed by Swiss-elected companies.
"It is important that, from the one point of view we got this agreement and will near to the end. At the same time for Georgia is very important that the uncontrolled cargo movement will be under the legislative frames. This will be an international monitoring performed by companies chosen by Switzerland. They have effective machinery for information exchange. Additionally the disputes resolution mechanism at the international level will be provided. This point is very important for us, "- Kalandadze said at the briefing today.
"There will not be a border definition as such, conserning this agreement. Nevertheless, the geographic marks will be located and they are considered under this agreement as a Russian-Georgian border. All three main crossings among them Upper Lars Check Point will be included under this agreement. This is an additional plus, "- Kalandadze said.
