Possibly in Georgia new pipeline will be constructed. The information is disseminated by Vagiph Aliev, representative of "Azerbaijani State Oil Company".
He said the oil pipe line will deliver Azerbaijani oil to Turkey. He said this will be a completely new pipeline or widened and reconstructed Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline. The project may as well include the components which are in Shakh Deniz consortium. The implementation of this project needs technical documentation, which is not yet developed.
This new pipeline will transfer for 16 bn cubic/meter more gas than is the case now. It may connect Southern Turkey and from that point may be delivered to Bulgaria and Greece.
