Krzystof Lisek, EP vice head of Parliamentary Subcommittee on Security and Defense said in the resolution which was passed on Georgia the term ‘occupation' was defined three times. He underlined that the occupied territories is a serious obstacle on the way of Georgia to the stability and development.
"I think many people were expecting impatiently this resolution of EP. Over 90% of the MPs upheld the term ‘occupation' in this case. Now it is a time to name the events by its real names. We are calling the Russian government to withdraw forces from Georgia and to do this as soon as possible, "- Lisek said. He as well noted that Catherin Ashton is called to continue negotiations with Russian Federation.
