Maka Asatiani, co-owner of Maestro TV (25% of Maestro TV's is owned by Maka Asatiani, Gachechiladze's long-time friend) disseminated the information that Erosi Kitsmarishvili, head of the TV Company staged the strained situation around the Maestro artificially TV to mislead people about misappropriated money from the company, GHN reports.
"The existing proofs are giving a solid basis for the deduction that Erosi Kitsmarishvili being in a hard financial situation and making a concealed agreement with government, decided to stage such situation when the return of steeled money would be impossible and to misappropriate the property in the Company which was financed by the founders, namely by Maka Asatiani, " - the declaration of Maka Asatiani reads.
Asatiani declared with full responsibility for such declaration that Kitsmarishvili did not spend a single tetri for the Maestro TV. And consequently according to the concluded contract with Kitsmarishvili under the Court order, if not fulfilling the payment obligations in 25 days (namely till December 5 of 2011) the contract with the Company would be null and void. To the point he misappropriated USD 500 thousand from investments to the Maerstro TV.
Further the statement reads that, instead of fulfilling own obligations Kitsmarishvili made a concealed agreement with authorities, which was favorable for both sides.
"Naturally both sides would win - Erosi would avoid the return of steeled money and would get new ones from authorities. The Authorities would get indirectly, the paralyzed TV Company Maestro. However Erosi was not able to perform the task and got into deep troubles, "- the statement reads.
Asatiani indicated that the Maestro TV will continue the broadcasting in the nearest future from new building and with better equipment; the staff will increase as well.
"What about the rumors about a sale of Maestro TV, I would say with full responsibility that Maestro TV company does not intends to sale actives and Erosi Kitsmarishvili has not moral, neither legal rights to make statements and manage over the Company's property, " - the declaration reads.
