Today on December 7 Parliament to summon Khatuna Kalmakhelidze, Probation Minister. She will present new legislative initiative at the Human Rights Parliamentary Committee concerning new type of punishment.
New prison was established were will be placed persons who are sentenced for the limited restrictions. Such persons will be allowed to move freely throughout the new establishment and to communicate with each-other. They will be allowed to be employed and to appoint short meetings with relatives in days off. They will be as well allowed to study in different educational programs. They will be able to gain some professional skills at the establishment.
