Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Washadze met with Hillary Clinton, USA State Secretary. She invited the Georgian delegation alongside with the NATO-Russian Council sitting.
"Today bilateral meeting was held between USA and Georgia delegations. Many questions were discussed, among them those questions which are of interest for both sides. First of all the attention was paid to the Chicago summit and to the preparation of Georgia for the summit.
The economic interests of Georgia were also considered. The Georgia's macroeconomic data were discussed. The situation in the region was of special attention. As well the Russia-Georgia relations, "- Wahsadze said after the meeting.
The bilateral meeting was held behind the closed doors. Washadze said the talks touched Russian theme and the inclusion of Georgia, as an NATO ally country to the Chicago summit.
