Levan Gachechiladze, leader of the political movement ‘Defend Georgia' declared that the one, common candidate presented by the opposition for the Tbilisi Mayor elections will be a guaranty for the victory on local elections.
"It is very important for us to agree about the common candidate for the local elections, this will be the guarantied victory of opposition, " - Gachechiladze said yesterday to journalists after the meeting of I. Alasania with the public representatives. Gachechiladze said that the mere agreement of the opposition on the one candidate will be already the victory in elections, and the opposition will win the elections even before it. He believes that the candidate for the City Mayor may be any opposition leader which will be opponent of Gigi Ugulava.
