The issue of Georgia will be on the agenda of the Russia-EU summit - Catherine Ashton EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy said in her speech before the European Parliamentarians in Strasburg, Rustavi 2 TV reports.
Ashton said Russia had not fulfilled its commitments taken by the August -September 2008 agreements.
`We will continue to engage Russia over Georgia, where Russia still needs to fully implement the commitments it made in the August and September 2008 agreements,` Ashton said.
Russia-EU two-day summit begins in Strasburg today.
