In 2012 Gerogia will enter several so-called ‘low-cost' air companies. Vera Qobalia, Economic Development Minister said direct negotiations will be conducted with air companies in European market in order to attract such air companies.
The next year the Kutaisi Kopitnari airport will be reconstructed. This will promote the regional and as well flights in direction to Europe and Asia. At the same time the Poti international airport construction as well will be accomplished. The flights will be performed according to the highest international standards.
