The company which will monitor the Russian-Georgian border under the WTO agreement is not chosen as yet. Sergi Kapanadze, deputy foreign Minister said this today at the traditional briefing in the MFA. He said that under the agreement the company will be chosen by Swiss party.
‘The Swiss party conducted consultations with us. Now consultations with Russian party are pending. The agreement stipulates that Swiss party will choose the company for monitoring at the border based on consultations. This denotes the final decision will be a decision taken in Bern. We have to wait what decision will be taken. International experience and the reputation of the company will be taken into consideration, "- Kapanadze said.
