The 2012 year will be decisive for response to the problems in area of unemployment and poverty, Manana Manjgaladze, Press Spokeswomen of President said GHN reports. She said despite of the many reforms and a progress, the problem still remains.
"Thousands of our citizens are unemployed. Many of them are in poverty. Namely because of this the 2012 will be a response to the challenge in this area, "- Manjgaladze said at the traditional briefing.
At the same time she noted that the 2011 was very special in terms of reforms and in the projects vitally important for Georgia.
"The economic growth in our country in 2011 was 6.5%. The international agencies appraised highly the reforms in Georgia. We will make more reforms in education, agriculture, healthcare and penitential system. As well in the Justice system. Our reforms appeared very interesting for foreign countries, "- she said.
