Prime Minister Nika Gilauri announced at the summarizing session of the government today that 2011 was the year of victory in Georgia`s foreign policy.
Gilauri said it was a very difficult year as the country had to pass through a very hard way, as Russia tried to isolate it, however, everything went on the contrary and Georgia succeeded to take its deserved position in the world politics.
Prime Minister said the most significant achievements of Georgia in 2011 was the beginning of negotiations about free trade and visa free relations with the European Union and the resolution adopted by the European Parliament about the occupied territories of Georgia.
